Along the way I have questioned and answered some queries that have satisfied my curiosity. And still, I am willing to change my mind if they are refuted with intelligence.
For example, I am extremely offended by some of the things that are written in the Bible and the Qua’ran and other religious books or booklets.
But more offended I am by the people who defend those biblical assertions and permissions to commit horrible crimes against humanity. I condemn and reject those writings.
Because humanity doesn’t deserve to be confused and abused by the fairies, by organized religions that all they do is to cause harmand false sense of morality.
Think and express your thoughts, but if they are contradicted do not feel defensive. Everybody is allowed to express his/her opinion, even when it opposes ours.
INSTEAD: LEARN from that opinion. It will make you grow and think smarter.
Yes, because us, the free thinkers, question everything and worship nothing. Always, accumulation of ideas and thoughts. Wonderful world in my mind!

Thinking requires the utilization of the brain in a coherent manner, scientifically if possible, but everyone can do this, in philosophy, art, sports, gardening, carpentry, in every profession and activity we practice.
Yup, on Sunday. What happened? I fell asleep last night, very early and peacefully. Long working day makes me fall asleep like a pure and innocent child.

I wonder, oh I love to wonder about things: humans, nature, relations, the cosmos, life and death. Many times I don’t find any answer, and in the way I get punished by people who think they know it all: religious and atheists alike.
But I don’t care. I don’t care because for me the most important thing is to always try to find out what really matters.
I have learned that at the end of it all it is our belief what takes us to a better place, every second of our lives. I believe in goodness, I believe in loving forever. Because there is forever. I want to believe.
I believe in the continuation of 1: our consciousness and 2: the energy that the cellular machine called mitochondria creates every millisecond of our existence. My beliefs don’t follow any religion, but I believe in compassion and absolute respect for other people’s lives.

I am wondering what the prevailing opinions are on this topic. In my opinion the possible options are:
1) An afterlife of some sort. 2) Nothingness 3) Karmic reincarnation. 4) Other?
Personally, I hope there’s an afterlife of some sort. But nothing has been proven. The First Law of thermodynamics: «Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.»—Einstein, would only «prove» that even mosquitoes would have an afterlife? Or maybe that energy is just different, human energy more evolved, recycled/transformed?
There are so many areas to explore, in physics, medicine, biology, chemistry, philosophy. I am currently studying quantum physics, space-time, and these theories make my brain wonder even more about life and death: 1) The Parallel Universes Theory and 2) The String Theory
So, scientifically I don’t have any answers, But I hope there is something amazingly better «out there» that our brains cannot comprehend yet, something that science still needs to explore and discover. Some sort of evolved energy we are transformed to after we die, maybe?
Our earth is beautiful indeed. The human body and all living organisms are amazing. But the behavior of humanity can be so disappointing and harmful to many that it would be pointless if this life were the only one we have to.
And if it is, then we should all make the best out of it: treat each other with respect, dignity, kindness and loyalty, I would like to evolve, to continue to live, to extend my and others’ life,
To me, every moment of my life is sacred, I live deeply every emotion and thought, pain and joy, I don’t waste my time believing in unicorns, in fairy tails. I hope, because I don’t fear. But I live, and I do it intensely,
Do you know that when we die helium is released after a very interesting and complex chemical decomposition reactions of the human body and it -helium- goes up to the atmosphere and then to the universe? That is a fact.
That being said, I trust science, but I love philosophy and I love my life too, so I will be a life extension for as long as I live and then, I hope, I can only hope… there is an afterlife of some sort.
But there might not be an afterlife after all. Who knows, nobody does.
Lastly, I want to point something out about Dr, Stephen Hawking, whom I have great admiration for his research in science. However, I respectfully disagree when he referred to computers no having an afterlife. I laughed when I read this, I thought that he was joking (he was a funny guy) so I did some research and nope, he wasn’t being funny at all, he was death serious.
How can anyone compare the human brain with a computer in terms of living or dying? But I will give him the benefit of the doubt since he was a very smart guy… I must be misunderstanding his quote?
When it comes to medicine and biology, I have noticed that most physicists make statements I disagree with, Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson included. Anyways, here is the quote:
People who are reluctant to educate themselves, tend to just follow orders and obey without questioning. Sad thing to see, the «robotic» human mind that is a reality in our world.
Now, you might think that I’m referring to university studies, PhD’s, MD’s…etc. No no, unfortunately getting a high degree diploma doesn’t guarantee that the student will become a thinker. An independent thinker.
I know of many medical doctors who are profoundly religious, some of them are evangelical, singing in tongues, even practicing exorcisms and all that «crapola» . And yes, they are real medical doctors, seriously! To me, this is a crime against the mind.
Educating ourselves involves reading many topics, have intense curiosity for science, philosophy, gardening, farming, cooking, literature, history, the arts, agriculture…learning about life for god sake!
Do you blog about your religion beliefs or your lack of beliefs? Are you concerned that if you do you might lose followers or fans because of your sincere opinion about it?
I know several bloggers who have told me that they prefer to stick to a comfortable niche; food, travel, designing, literature, etc. And when a blogger makes a post about theism, atheism, agnosticism, etc., they prefer to stay away from that topic and not to give it a like and, of course, not to comment.
As all you know, I like to blog about things I love in my life: food (I LOVE food), travel, cats, nature, science, cycling and lifestyle in general. And yes, I try to keep my opinions about religion or the lack thereof to myself, because some people take things too seriously and sometimes they tend to be aggressive if they don’t agree with what they read.
Personally, I get along with people of all beliefs and non-believers as well. As long as they respect me as much as I respect them, I don’t have a problem at all. I honestly think that we all can get along if we conduct ourselves with appreciation and consideration. I don’t have to convince anybody about what I do or don’t believe, but I think we all should have the right to express freely our thoughts and opinions without fear of any kind.
My blogging is mainly about my lifestyle in general. But I have come to a point in my blog where I need to express my thoughts about religion freely. Of course, with respect and hoping everyone will agree that it is perfectly okay to disagree once in a while and still be friends.

“What goes around comes around” is the phrase that comforts most people when they’re in an unfair situation or any other situation in which they have no control over.
If you ask most people what karma is all about they will say something like, “It is punishment for past wrongs.” Or “What you do to others will come back to you.”
INSTANT KARMA
The concept of karma is very old and has its origin in ancient India. However, many Buddhist and Hinduist schools of thought use different definitions.
However, many people still have a need for an outside authority that punishes and rewards. This is apparent in the way many religions are still interpreted and practiced.
For generations, our ancestors believed in a judging and punishing god. Subconsciously we still project the image of a judging authority on a teacher, a set of religious or philosophical beliefs, or a concept like karma. This way, we just take away the old judging deity and replace it with another.
It’s seen as a sort of cause and effect; a universal system of justice against your crimes.
In fact, some people count on it for vengeance.
The original Buddhist idea of karma based on reincarnation is even more problematic with respect to evidence.
Nothing out of the ordinary happens much. Everything happens for a reason, sure, but that reason hasn’t been proven to be a spiritual or a mystical one. Everything happens for a reason because of cause and effect. That cause and effect is determined by probability.
In history, there have been legions of people who have done good deeds for their families and other people while still living lives of quiet desperation. What do infants do to deserve being abandoned by their parents, or being killed in car accidents?
At the other end, there are despotic leaders like Stalin and predatory criminals like Jack the Ripper who got to the end of their lives without any particularly dire consequences.
These examples do not prove that there is no such thing as karma, but should combine with the lack of evidence for karma to support the conclusion that karma is just a myth. The belief that what goes around comes around is just wishful thinking.
CONCLUSION: Karma is not a bitch. It is a myth. It doesn’t exist.
