I have many passions in my life, being my family number one, medical science second, then not in any particular order: traveling, cats, cars, music, cycling, movies, farming, gardening, blogging, reading, learning languages and food, I love food, it’s one of my true passions, and there’s a special kind of food I love.
Today is a wonderful day to take it easy. It is calming and peaceful, and boy I am hungry! I have been taking care of my calories and exercising, bicycling and jogging for quite a while without a break. Today and tomorrow I rest and it’s time to enjoy the Food Day.
So here it is what I am planning to eat with the family:

Looking at beautiful pictures is an incentive to our brain neurons to produce dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins to makes us feel good, better, happy, up-beat. Also reading few encouraging lines, and peaceful notes of love, is good enough to activate these hormones and neurotransmitters to make us go stronger and more hopeful through out our day. We are all different in this world, -and that is exciting- but at the same time we are the same because we, as humans want to love, to be in love, and to be loved.
Some of us have been extremely blessed by love; even though our worlds before we had met each other might had been, well, different, you become one because of love.
Sunday is the day I have chosen to give thanks publicly for everything that makes me live in this world of us. We all have differents things to give thanks for. It would be a wonderful practice to do it everyday of our lives!

Love is really important to keep our sanity. And sanity starts with each one of us, at home, then let it expand to our communities, our cities, countries, the world. Utopia? Maybe, but hope should never die, never.
I seldom talk about my family, and that is because we tend to be kind of private, but when a new member is born, the joy my heart feels is so immense I have to express it in some way.
I love so many things in my life, science is one of them, music, nature, cycling, etc., but my loved one are definitely number one. Nothing is more important to me than my beautiful loyal loving daughter, my son in law and his parents (they are adorable), my partner of 28 years (and going….), my cousins, my nieces, my grandchildren.
Life is wonderful, and I expect the best of it day and night. I welcome happiness, love and real joy.
