Black Bat Flower or Tacca Tanchieri in Latin is a unique flower with sinister tentacles that come in long size. The flower is originally from Burma and Thailand. When it grows, the leaves of the flower can reach up to 40 cm long in size.

Meanwhile the maximum height of the plant is about 36 inches. The flowers comes with various colors include black, marron, green, and brown. The Black Bat Flower is considered since it is really hard to grow and can only survive under particular environment conditions.

One Day at a Time Original TV Series 1975 Phenomenal!

I’ve been having a good time watching «One Day at a Time». It has a great story about a mom -Ann Romano- who moved out on her own with her two teenage daughters: the rebellious Julie and the wisecracking Barbara. Ann Romano, fantastically played by Bonnie Franklin.

I love the premise of the show: a divorcee mom with two daughters not being afraid of making it in the world alone, feeling free, hopeful, happy and strong.
I don’t know if you, reader, have watched this tv show, if you haven’t and you like to have a good time with your family, I recommend you see it.

Another thing I adore about this series is the theme song:

One Day at a Time premiered on December 16, 1975 and ended in 1984; 9 seasons. It was best known as a staple of the CBS Sunday-night lineup, along with Archie Bunker’s Place, Alice and The Jeffersons.

Ann frequently struggles with maintaining her role as mother while affording her daughters the freedom she never had as a young woman. David Kane, Ann’s divorce lawyer and neighbor, takes a romantic interest in her, but she isn’t ready to remarry. Dwayne Schneider, the building’s quirky superintendent (most often referred to only by his last name), provides usually-unwanted advice to the tenants.

Community Pool … Where Has It Gone? I Miss It Bring it Back on 2019!

Yes, indeed, I miss the Community Pool in the Blogosphere of WordPress.

There was lots of interaction and communication. I got to chat with many bloggers and know their experiences and points of view.

Also, everybody could check each others blogs, give advices and opinions about how to improve them. I hope WP brings it back, or another similar idea would be nice.

I seldom talk about my family, and that is because we tend to be kind of private, but when a new member is born, the joy my heart feels is so immense I have to express it in some way.

I love so many things in my life, science is one of them, music, nature, cycling, etc., but my loved one are definitely number one. Nothing is more important to me than my beautiful loyal loving daughter, my son in law and his parents (they are adorable), my partner of 28 years (and going….), my cousins, my nieces, my grandchildren.

Life is wonderful, and I expect the best of it day and night. I welcome happiness, love and real joy.

This one shows my followers avatars and links back to their websites or to their gravatars, giving them back some free publicity. A way to thank them for their loyalty.

Everytime I LIKE a post in my WP Reader, it shows it automatically in the widget. Also, it links to the blog post of the blogger I am following. Great for marketing, right

Gardening in summer 2019

It’s June! summer has arrived and it’s almost time for many of us to harvest our first squash, beans and tomatoes!

I have worked very diligently on my compost for the last 12 months to make sure that it would be perfect for my vegetable garden project this summer.
Now I have pumpkins, tomatoes, squash, peaches, berries, and nore, swiss chard and more veggies and fruits growing divinely and profusely.
