If you are suffering from fibromyalgia, you need to know some facts about it and remember: do not feel shame for feeling the way you do. You can control this disorder and don’t let it overpower you.
Tender points are the specific points on the body that, when touched, feel tender to the person being touched.

NOTE: Fibromyalgia is not «an imaginary disease», it is real and it needs to be addressed as such. It is a seriously misunderstood illness.

Glad you are getting the word out 👍

So true that it’s not something to be shameful of… I had a friend who suffered terribly with this condition… xo

Why would you be ashamed of an illness?

Unfortunately, fibromyalgia has been stereotyped as a «product of the imagination of the patient» and disregarded by many medical doctors as an «invention» or «manipulation».
IT IS NOT THAT, The patient is not a hypochondriac, the patient suffers from a very real and severe psychosomatic disease that affects many aspects of his/her life and well being.
