Your smiles and your jokes Are in fact just a cloak

The sparkle in your eyes As you take pleasure in my cries

And the way you rejoice Hearing the pain in my voice

Made me understand That you ARE a bad man

Under that polished facade, You believe you’re a god

I’m tired of your neglect And of your disrespect

So I pen these words Hoping you’ve heard

That at the end of the day Those games that you play

Maybe you are fun But my dear I am done!

Forgiveness means different things to different people. Generally, however, it involves a decision to let go of resentment and thoughts of revenge. Forgiving is good for our mental health.

The act that hurt or offended you might always be with you, but forgiveness can lessen its grip on you and help free you from the control of the person who harmed you. Forgiveness can even lead to feelings of understanding, empathy, and compassion for the one who hurt you.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting or excusing the harm done to you or making up with the person who caused the harm. Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life.

Such a short quote, but it contains so much wisdom. We wouldn’t know this until we suffer, then we forget when good times arrive and dance and sing, forgetting the pain that struggles our hearts and weakened our bodies. Then, suffering comes again, and it is important to remember that LOVE IS ETERNAL. Eternal for me, can be just a glorious minute, an hour, a month, a year. But as long as it is love, It is worth it to go through the posterior suffering that for sure, will come…and pass.

Love yourselves. It’s much important you do it every day. But remember that while suffering passes, having suffered, never passes.
