The flavor is unique to it and once you try it, you will never forget that especial flavor. The texture, taste and color of the fruit have all been associated with chocolate pudding, which makes the fruit both appealing and highly unusual.

That’s unique looking and I’m sure «tasting» too Martha. Everything looks so colorful – all we have colorful here right now is the blue sky on a rare sunny day. :)

Zapote is so delicious. You might want to try it once.
I bet the sky is deep blue and beautiful, Linda. Down here the max temp today was 78, kind of windy and lots of birds. I hope the cold ends. I don’t like it. I love heat, sweat and sun! 😁🌞🌞🏝

I am definitely living in the wrong place Martha … it has been horrible weather here in SE Michigan and I’m happy for the few upcoming days in the low 40s … that is unusual for us in February, just like it was unusual to have the -6F last week. There is no pleasing us. The zapote looks delicious!

OMG…low 40’s and it’s unusual? Holy! But -6F? no way Jose hahaha. Right now it’s 23C here. My poor knees needed this heat. If I lived where you live I would probably be totally stiffed all day hahaha.

Yes, we don’t usually have 40s until mid-to-late March. This won’t last though Martha … it’s just a tease to get us through March! Our February was brutal this year. Your knees would not like it here, believe me!
