Exotic Tropical Fruit Of The Week: Zapote

The flavor is unique to it and once you try it, you will never forget that especial flavor. The texture, taste and color of the fruit have all been associated with chocolate pudding, which makes the fruit both appealing and highly unusual.

      1. I am definitely living in the wrong place Martha … it has been horrible weather here in SE Michigan and I’m happy for the few upcoming days in the low 40s … that is unusual for us in February, just like it was unusual to have the -6F last week. There is no pleasing us. The zapote looks delicious!

      2. Yes, we don’t usually have 40s until mid-to-late March. This won’t last though Martha … it’s just a tease to get us through March! Our February was brutal this year. Your knees would not like it here, believe me!
