I am truly sadden for the death of renowned physicist, an ambassador of science, professor Stephen Hawking at the age of 76. His passing leaves a gaping hole in the Universe. You take your mind with you but gave us so much knowledge and wisdom, an exemplary life of courage. His theories unlocked a universe of possibilities that now multiple scientists around the world are exploring.
I still can’t believe we just lost one of the greatest minds to ever grace this earth. A man who contributed so much to our world and our understanding of it.

I have always had great admiration for Prof. Stephen Hawking. I am very saddened to hear of his passing, we truly lost a great mind. A while back I read a wonderful children´s book called George´s Secret Key to the Universe, written by Hawking and his daughter Lucy, and found it to be very interesting and easy to understand. I hope that children would take time and read it, because that was the magic of Prof. Hawking, he could make extremely complex topics accessible to people who have no science training.
He had an open mind, did not judge, was wiling to consider many ideas, and not shy about giving voice to important issues.
I loved that he enjoyed Star Trek, The Big Bang Theory, and used media to spread the idea that science is cool.
I hope you are running through the Universe and have unlocked more secrets of the same.

He was one of a kind wasn’t he? He was a courageous person who never let his disabilities stand in his way and was a brilliant scientist, respected by not only those in his field, but by esteemed scholars as well as well as lay people all around the world. I know that were I in his shoes, I would never have had the bravery to carry on.
