This is a truly marvelous waterfall. It is located on the Zambia and Zimbabwe border. The water of Zambezi river falls down in a straight line, therefore water spray raises very high and can be spotted from many kilometers away.

STUNNING BIRDS

There are thousands of different beautiful species of birds on earth that it would take all of our lives forever to list them all, to photograph them all, to describe them all.

In this article, I want to show you a few of the many who I find just staggering.

Whether it’s for camouflage or attracting a mate, the birds listed below have all the colors of the rainbow in their beautiful feathers!

Southern Ground Hornbill

Wings

All birds have wings, although not all birds fly. Nor are wings confined to Aves; bats are flying mammals and most insects have wings.

Red bellied Fruit-dove

Birds’ bodies are beautifully designed for flight, with strong chest muscles and just enough curve to their wings to provide lift. Differences in wing shape provide different advantages to the various bird species. The narrow, sharp-tipped wings of the falcon provide speed; albatrosses soar high on wings much longer than they are wide.

Staggering Wing Pattern

Most songbirds have elliptical, evenly shaped wings that facilitate quick, small movements in the tight spaces of their tree homes. Swimming birds, such as penguins and puffins, have flipper-shaped wings that propel them rapidly and gracefully through water.

In fact, about 200 years ago the first pharmacological compound, morphine, was produced from opium extracted from the seed pods of the poppy flower. Since then, scientists have been studying plants to create the pharmaceutical products we know today. But after years of over-medicating, facing resistant bacteria in the microbiome and treating the illness rather than the root of the problem, people are beginning to pay more attention to natural, herbal medicine
