Why do people lie so much? Hiding, convoluting, hurting each other, and then, lying again.

It’s annoying for me, the lying, the fantasies that people create, invent and imagine, for one reason or another.

I rather the harsh truth on my face than a «compassionate» lie behind my back. It’s much easier to tell the truth than a lie. It has less complications and makes you free.

Believing in God or not, being religious or not, that doesn’t make you a better or worse person. Look at this «wonderful» cyclist I used to admire, a lot: Lance Armstrong, an atheist who cheated his entire career to get ahead. He had the guts to say the following… «I hope I would be judged on whether I had lived a true life». Really?!

I absolutely despise the hypocrisy in religion. I was raised Catholic then Methodist and I was always taught “Judge not lest ye be judged”, “Love thy neighbor as thyself”, and “Do unto others as they would have done unto you.” So, what exactly have I witnessed in Christianity? None of it!

You can’t just call yourself a “Good Christian” and then discriminate against different groups of people. If there was really a God, why are very good people dying of terrible diseases like cancer? Why are so many people across the globe living in poverty? Why is there always fighting? Why is there no world peace?

It’s not okay to go up to someone and say “If you don’t accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are going to Hell.” Everyone is entitled to have their own beliefs and people need to respect that. Also, there are over 4000 different religions throughout the world, so how can anyone assume that their religion is right and everyone else is wrong?

Myth of the Day: 3 Heartbreaking Jesus Virgins Saints Crying Blood Tears

MYTH:

The Catholic church and some of its followers believe in the myth that some saints and virgins have cried blood. They make statues of them with blood tears rolling down the faces made of ceramic or plaster.

Myth of the day

Many catholics report sightings of weeping madonnas, from Ireland to Croatia, but the only one recognised by the Church is a statue of the Virgin Mary in the town of Siracusa in Sicily. It began weeping in 1953, so they say.

FACT:

There is actually a symptom known as  haemolacria, which is a rare condition that causes a person to produce tears that are partially composed of blood. The condition has garnered significant attention in the medical community and media recently.

Haemolacria is a symptom of multiple diseases involving the conjunctiva and lacrimal system.

These entities can range from vascular malformations and tumors to infectious or inflammatory conditions and has even been reported in the literature as a presenting finding in scleral buckle infection.
