  1. All delicious-looking and all UN-messy food Martha. I hear people may be starting victory gardens as a result of sheltering in place and staying home … being a homebody is good. We can’t plant for a while (they say Memorial Day, though it may be different for veggies/fruits as opposed to annuals) and harvest time won’t be for a while after that.

    1. Oh wow! It’s because you get a lot of snow in the winter, don’t you? I am a passionate gardener, well, more than that, since I raise chickens, I have a big pond where I cultivate fish, catfish mainly, I LOVE love love nature. I have a little orchard and the main veggies I love to plant every year are tomatoes, zucchini, squash lettuce, celery, onion, carrots and some broccoli, not much broccoli, but my hens and roosters love the broccoli leaves.
I already started sawing and some seeds are sprouting after the heavy rain we’ve had.
I am looking forward to enjoy Spring and Summer!

      1. Wow you are more than a hobby gardener Martha – good for you. Plus the chickens – you are self-contained at your home. We have had heavy rains three days in a row with another storm this evening – it turned the warm temps to chilly temps and a week of cold and gray days are ahead but the grass is suddenly long and lush.
